I have found that the act of indiscriminately discarding cigarette butts is very common among smokers, making them the largest proportion of plastic waste in the world.

The massive emission of these cigarette butts leads to the deaths of a large number of marine organisms due to intestinal blockages caused by microplastics within the butts.

During interviews, I discovered that the majority of smokers are unaware that casually tossing cigarette butts can contribute to environmental degradation, and many do not realize that cigarette butts are non-biodegradable.

As a result, in this project, I have constructed visuals depicting the deaths caused by intestinal blockages due to the accumulation of microplastics, aiming to raise awareness in society regarding the issue of cigarette butt pollution.
