PECHOIN Rebranding// Brand Identity// Package Design// Marketing// 2023

My interest in environmental issues and the philosophy behind the Pechoin brand led me to create a marketing strategy for this classic Chinese regional product.

Taking cues from the fact that “Pechoin” in Chinese can signify either “a hundred birds” or “many birds,” I’ve linked the conservation of vanishing bird populations with environmental preservation.

At the same time, I want to get the word out about the Pechoin brand among local animal rights activists and eco-conscious consumers.

For this project, I opted for a cheery and bright color scheme, illustrating a steam-wave landscape complete with the sun, trees, flowers, and birds.

Since Steamwave is a relatively new internet culture that gained popularity in 2015, incorporating its aesthetics into the company’s marketing strategy has the potential to broaden the company’s appeal to a younger demographic.

I also created unique product packaging to go along with the presentation box for this set. tTo further the goal of spreading awareness about the importance of protecting birds, the product packaging also includes facts on these species that are in risk of extinction.

我对环境问题的兴趣和百雀羚品牌背后的理念使我为这一经典的中国地区产品制定了营销策略。

从“百鸟”在中文中既可以表示“一百只鸟”,也可以表示“许多鸟”这一事实中得到启发,我把保护正在消失的鸟类种群与环境保护联系起来。

与此同时,我想在当地的动物权利活动家和有环保意识的消费者中宣传百鸟品牌。

在这个项目中,我选择了一种欢快明亮的配色方案,描绘了一个由太阳、树木、花朵和鸟类组成的蒸汽波景观。

由于蒸汽波是一种相对较新的互联网文化,在2015年开始流行,将其美学融入公司的营销策略有可能扩大公司对年轻人群的吸引力。

我还创建了独特的产品包装,以配合这一套的演示盒。为了进一步宣传保护鸟类的重要性,产品包装还包括这些濒临灭绝物种的事实。
